ABOUT WUMPUS LABS

We were fortunate to grow up during the dawn of the personal computer. Before computers became appliances, they were invitations to explore. You had to take them apart, figure out how they worked, and make them do something. We learned to program because it was fun, because it was an adventure, and because there was always another rabbit hole to disappear into.

Through the golden age of classic PC gaming, we spent countless hours writing code, solving problems, exploring virtual worlds, and figuring things out together. Somewhere along the way, those games and computers became more than a pastime. We didn't make fortunes, and we didn't lose any either. What we gained was considerably more valuable: priceless memories, lifelong friendships, and a fascination with computers that never really went away.

Wumpus Labs is a small monument to those days (and to the people who made them worth remembering).

01 / SIM-INT

Simulated Intelligence, tight coding, meta-programming, and the occasional encounter with a very large cave.

02 / CODE

Experiments in programming languages, engine hacking, and building things that probably work or at least once did.

03 / LABS

Projects, experiments, teaching materials, and assorted digital artifacts from the laboratory.
